For Windows PC:
Step 1: Download and Install the Windows Version
- Click the button below to start the download: Download Scanmarker Software. This will begin the download process of the ScanMarker software for your PC.
- Save the file to your device in a convenient location. Once the download is complete, locate the installer file called scanmarker offline setup.exe
- Double-click on the installer file to launch the installation process.
- Follow the on-screen prompts:
- Agree to the license terms.
- Choose the installation directory (default is usually fine).
- Click "Install" and wait for the process to finish.
Step 2: Launch ScanMarker Offline
- After installation, you can launch ScanMarker from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
- The software should now be ready for offline use, allowing you to scan text without an internet connection.
- You can rename the shortcut as you wish.

Once installed a scantoexternal icon will be installed on your desktop.
Steps to Connect:
- Turn on your Scanmarker by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds until the LED light on the scanner tip turns on. Ensure the device is fully charged.
- Open ScanToExternal desktop app by double-clicking the desktop icon.

Click "Connect" in the ScanToExternal application and choose your connection type usb or bluetooth.
- If the device is not connected, the icon will remain gray.
- Once successfully connected, the icon will turn orange.
