The settings icon allows you to select between the 56 languages online available.
ScanMarker Pro allows you to effortlessly scan and read printed text. Simply slide the device over the text, and the integrated OCR technology will convert it into digital text, displayed on the device's screen while highlight each word.
For Windows users:
1. Open File Explorer and locate the Scanmarker PAL under "Devices and Drives."
2. Click on the device to access its storage.
3. Open the "Internal Storage" folder to find the saved text files.
4. Identify the desired file to edit or export , make a copy and save it on your computer drive.
From here, you can copy, edit, or move the text files as needed, making it easy to manage and work with your scanned content on your computer.
For Mac users, the Android File Transfer software must be installed to access the Scanmarker Pal's files.
1. Connect the pen reader to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
2. Open Android File Transfer, then locate the specific file within the pen’s folder that you wish to export.
3. Copy the file to your chosen location on your computer.
Once copied, confirm that the content has successfully imported to the selected folder on your Mac.
This function works with an online connection to the internet.
The icon colour is yellow gold.
The voice translation function supports up to 112 languages of voice only.

Connecting Scanmarker Pro with Wireless Earbuds via Bluetooth
The Scanmarker Pro allows you to connect to wireless earbuds via Bluetooth to enhance your scanning experience, providing a more immersive and hands-free interaction. Follow these steps to easily pair your Scanmarker Pro with your Bluetooth-enabled wireless earbuds:

Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled:
- Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on both in your Scanmarker Pro device and on your wireless earbuds.

Put Your Earbuds in Pairing Mode:
- To begin, place your wireless earbuds into pairing mode. This is usually done by holding down the power button or a designated Bluetooth button on your earbuds until the LED indicator starts flashing, signaling that they are ready to connect.

Activate Bluetooth on the Scanmarker Pro:
- Power on the Scanmarker Pro. Navigate to the device’s Bluetooth settings through the menu. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled by toggling the Bluetooth switch or selecting the Bluetooth option from the settings.

Pair the Devices:
- Once Bluetooth is activated on both devices, your Scanmarker Pro will search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Select your wireless earbuds from the list of available devices displayed on the Scanmarker Pro.
- If prompted, confirm the connection on both the Scanmarker Pro and your wireless earbuds.

Test the Connection:
- After pairing, test the connection by scanning a text. You should hear the text being read aloud through your wireless earbuds. If you encounter any issues, verify that the devices are within a reasonable distance and that Bluetooth is functioning properly on both.

Adjust Volume (Optional):
- You can adjust the volume through either the Scanmarker Pro or your wireless earbuds, depending on your preference.
If you experience any problems during the pairing process, ensure that both devices have sufficient battery charge and try restarting both the Scanmarker Pro and the earbuds before attempting to pair them again.
The Scanmarker Pro allows you to personalize the device by selecting your preferred language for both the device interface and the supported operating system. Follow the steps below to configure language settings:

Access the Language Settings on Scanmarker Pro:
- Turn on your Scanmarker Pro device and navigate to the settings menu.
- In the settings, locate the Language option.

Select Your Preferred Language:
- Tap on the Language option to see a list of supported languages.
- The available languages include:
- English
- Spanish
- German
- French
- Italian
- Choose the language you prefer from the list.
The Multiline setting allows you to display scanned text across multiple lines when using the Translate function. This feature enhances readability and provides a more organized view of the translated text.

Multiline Display: When enabled, the scanned text will be presented in separate lines, making it easier to follow along and understand the translation.

Impact on Speaking Speed: Please note that the Multiline setting may cause a slight delay in the speaking speed compared to the Single Line reading mode. This is because the device processes multiple lines of text, which can take a bit more time to process and speak aloud.
By using the Multiline setting, you can improve the clarity of translated text, though there may be a minor tradeoff in speaking speed.
