How to Change Scanning Language
To select your desired language within the web application:
Click on the Language Dropdown menu
Use the Search Language bar to type the name of the language you need.
Read Aloud (TTS)While we support scanning for over 112 languages, the Read Aloud feature currently offers high-quality, natural-sounding voices for 56 specific languages for reading back the text.
How to Enable Read Aloud
Scan your text: The text will appear instantly in the web application.
Click the Speaker Icon: Locate the speaker icon next to your scanned text or the translated result.
Adjust Settings: Click the Settings gear to change the reading speed (slower or faster) or to select a different voice profile (Male/Female) if available.
In the ScanMarker web app, the Read Selected feature is designed to give you precise control over what you hear.
How Read Selected Works
Selected Portion: If you highlight a specific sentence or paragraph with your mouse, clicking Read Selected will read only that highlighted text.
All Text: If no text is manually highlighted, clicking the button will typically read all the text currently visible in the document window from beginning to end.
