Can I use Scanmarker if I am left-handed?

Yes - Scanmarker works for both right and left handed users.

You would just need to set the correct scanning hand in the settings.

Note that when using the left-hand setting you would scan from right-to-left regardless of the text direction, holding the scanner as if upside down, as shown in the picture below:
