Scanmarker Pal and PRO are a standalone device and does not connect to a computer via Bluetooth. It is designed to function independently without requiring an external connection.
However, you can connect the PAL model to a computer via USB to export scanned text as a .txt file.

This function allows you to take notes and save scanned text, which can then be easily exported to a computer for further editing or printing. The exported content is saved as a .txt file, making it simple to store, share, and manage digitally. Additionally, you can rename files directly on the device, giving you greater organization and control over your saved content.
Please connect the pen reader with the computer usb port and the provided cable and find the excerpt txt in the corresponding folder.
For Windows users:
1. Open File Explorer and locate the Scanmarker PAL under "Devices and Drives."
2. Click on the device to access its storage.
3. Open the "Internal Storage" folder to find the saved text files.
4. Identify the desired file to edit or export , make a copy and save it on your computer drive.
From here, you can copy, edit, or move the text files as needed, making it easy to manage and work with your scanned content on your computer.
For Mac users, the Android File Transfer software must be installed to access the Scanmarker Pal's files.
1. Connect the pen reader to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
2. Open Android File Transfer, then locate the specific file within the pen’s folder that you wish to export.
3. Copy the file to your chosen location on your computer.
Once copied, confirm that the content has successfully imported to the selected folder on your Mac.
